2026-2027 Student Registration

Taniel Varoujan Armenian School (TVAS) welcomes you to the 2026-2027 academic year! 

D. Jackie Papazian, our principal; the faculty, and the TVAS Board are excited to welcome you to our Armenian educational and cultural programs that will enhance your child(ren)'s Armenian heritage.

Students may enroll at Taniel Varoujan Armenian School beginning at age 4 and will enter grade K1. 

Our school year begins on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026. ALL ARE WELCOME! This day comprises orientation and the first day of school. The school day runs 9:45 am (arrival) with 10 am (opening prayer) to 2 pm (closing prayer and dismissal).

Tuition for all students is $450 for the 2026-2027 school year. The modest increase this school year helps us manage rising costs and it fuels TVAS 2030, our long-term strategic plan charting the future of the Taniel Varoujan Armenian School in our Chicagoland community.

Register & Pay Early! For those who register and pay by June 30, 2026, you will receive a complimentary TVAS Yearbook for each registered student at the end of the year (May 2027). 

The deadline for full tuition payment is March 6, 2027. Thereafter, a late fee of $50 will apply. 

Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card.*

*Note: 3% will be charged as a processing fee for each credit card transaction

Students are required to wear a Taniel Varoujan Armenian School T-shirt or sweatshirt to school each week. If you are a new student, you will receive a complimentary t-shirt on the first day of school. Other school branded clothing options are available for purchase like hooded sweatshirts, crew neck sweatshirts, and long-sleeve t-shirts. Please ask a Board Member for more information.
